Unit Resource Lists

These resource lists tell you where to go in the library and on the Internet for information on a specific topic. They list specific books (both fiction and nonfiction) and the general numbers in which to browse in the library for each topic. They also give the specific numbers for books in the Melbourne (Florida) library. Most libraries will locate them by a similar number; the card catalog or computer can help you locate the book. They list Internet sites which offer information and those which offer learning activities (to play online and/or to print out). The lists are by no means exhaustive, but they offer resources that will augment your children's studies with no research time required. Each page represents about 20-40 hours of research time you won't need to do. The lists are organized by age levels: preschool-kindergarten, kindergarten to grade 3, elementary-junior high, and junior high-high school. The resource list for each topic is about 5-10 pages long.
